About Self Care Healing Class for Caregivers

Updated: Jun 13, 2019

support rescue animals and caretakers

Many of you know I am teaching this class for those working with and caring for any and all types of animals in any environment. The class was created by Kathleen Prasad, Founder of SARA (Sheltered Animal Reiki Association). As a member and a practitioner of SARA, I am among a group of Reiki practitioner and teacher volunteers committed to supporting rescued animals and their caregivers with the healing benefits of Reiki meditation.

This class addresses how to help the care taker heal themselves from the #1 occupational hazard of Compassion Fatigue. You will receive specific techniques on how to deal with the fatigue, anger, anxiety and much more through different methods of meditation. This class is NOT a Reiki class, but about how create a space of balance and harmony within yourself in the most chaotic and stressful moments as well as for everyday living.

When we put ourselves last we deplete all of our vital energy. This class provides simple ways of taking care of yourself - for if we don't care care of ourselves how can we care for others?

The class is designed to help everyone in any enviroment:

  • Shelter-Rescue Staff & Volunteers

  • Surgery Recover (at home)

  • Pallative Care

  • Fostering

  • Veterinarian-Techs-Staff

  • Groomers

  • Petsitters

  • Caring for a loved one who has an animal that is also left in your care

  • Reiki practitioners from any lineage and Lightworkers

REGISTER NOW for the next class in Hampstead MD at The Bridge Healing Center to ensure your spot and 24 page manual upon arrival.

If you are working or volunteering at a shelter or rescue organization and would like to get more information on having this class there, contact me to discuss the details.

SARA has provided me this incrediable opportunity to share valuable tools to help you as you give of yourself to the care of the animals around you. We are here to support, educate and help heal both caretakers and animals.

When a class is at a specific shelter-rescue-foster organization, then 25% of the proceeds will go to the shelter. It is free to all Staff and Volunteers of that shelter will get 50% off.

Thank you for taking the time in reading this and please share to those who you know need this support.

Blessings to you & your animal(s)

May your animals light your way..

With Love and Gratitude,

Dulsanea
